Juveniles in custody after pursuit ends in crash on Needmore Road

HARRISON TWP., Montgomery County — Three juveniles are in custody after leading police on a pursuit, sideswiping a vehicle and crashing in Harrison Twp. Friday afternoon.

The crash happened around 11:20 a.m. on Needmore Road just west of Dixie Drive in Harrison Twp. Three juveniles — two girls and a boy — were taken into custody, troopers said.

Troopers found guns inside the SUV.

A short time before the crash, Huber Heights police had been chasing the same vehicle before terminating their pursuit on I-70, according to emergency dispatch traffic. The suspect car had sideswiped a vehicle on state Route 202, according to Huber Heights police.

Dayton police also responded to the crash to collect evidence possibly related to an aggravated robbery, according to dispatch records.
