EATON — Pork lovers unite, the big weekend is finally here!
The Preble County Pork Festival is coming to Preble County Fairgrounds this weekend after originally being cancelled due to rising costs.
Festival goers can experience all things pork, live music, pig races, cooking demos, a beer and wine garden, a variety of vendors and more.

The festival will start with a breakfast at 6:30 a.m. both days and run until 9 p.m. Saturday and 5 p.m. Sunday.
In late April, the board of the Pork Festival announced the decision to suspend the festival in 2022, saying, “The continuing rise in cost of products has made it impossible to maintain our aging equipment, purchase new equipment and continue the festival in a traditional fashion.”

During a meeting in June, the festival board, county commissioners and the public met where the decision was made to bring the festival back this year with the help of a promotion company RMJG Events.
