UPDATE @ 8 a.m.:
A Dayton Power and Light spokesman says all power has been restored to Logan County after a large-scale outage.
Power was knocked out to over 3,000 customers around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday morning. Kevin Hall with DP&L says the outage was centered in the Indian Lake area and has been blamed on equipment failure.
Power has been restored to customers by switching power from substations to the affected areas. Hall says crews are currently investigating the damage and determining the repairs.
Hall adds customers should not expect any planned outages during the repairs.

Over 3,000 Dayton Power and Light customers are waking up to no power this morning in Logan County.
Calls into our newsroom started around 6:30 a.m. Tuesday about power being out in the Indian Lake area and an online outage map says 3,048 customers do not have electricity.
A DP&L representative was not immediately available to comment on the outage.
