UPDATE @ 6:35 a.m.
Electric service has been restored to most areas that experienced outages earlier this morning, with only a few customers still in the dark.
According to a DP&L outage map, small outages are still reported in Clinton, Greene, Logan, Montgomery, and Preble counties, but no more than 10 outages are reported in each county.
Duke Energy now reports 46 customers are without electricity in Butler County.
UPDATE @ 5 a.m.
Outage maps continue to show several areas impacted by power outages Monday morning.
- Butler- 45 Duke Energy customers were still without power
- Greene- 68 DP&L outages were reported
- Logan- 51 DP&L outages were reported at 4:50 a.m.
- Montgomery-30 DP&L outages were reported
UPDATE @ 3:45 a.m.
Power outages remain a problem in four area counties Monday morning.
At 3:45 a.m. Dayton Power and Light and Duke Energy still reported customers in the dark as a result of power failures.
- Butler- 45 Duke Energy customers reported outages
- Clinton- 218 DP&L customers reported no power
- Greene- 67 DP&L outages
- Montgomery- 29 DP&L Outages

Power outages are currently reported in four area counties.
At 2:45 a.m. a Dayton Power and Light online outage map showed customers in Clinton, Greene, and Montgomery were experiencing outages.
- Clinton- 145 reported outages
- Montgomery- 142 reported outages
- Greene- 66 customers reported without power.
Butler County is also experiencing outages, according to Duke Energy. 45 customers were reported in the dark at 2:45 a.m.
The cause of the outages is unknown, but high winds that have been reported in the area could be a contributing factor.
