’Flyin’ to the Hoop officials warn of ticketing scam

KETTERING — Organizers of a popular high school basketball tournament are warning fans of a fake online ticketing scam.

Premier Health’s Flyin’ to the Hoop Tournament posted a warning on its Facebook page to avoid purchasing electronic tickets.

Only physical tickets purchased on the event website, ticket office, participating school athletic offices or River Valley Credit Union locations will be accepted at the door.

The four-day tournament features high schools from around the area and takes place during Martin Luther King Jr. weekend.
