Ivan Keith Evans was sentenced to 14 to 16 1/2 years in prison after pleading guilty to 10 felony counts of cocaine trafficking and possession.

The Greene County A.C.E. Drug Task Force began investigating Evans in late 2025 after receiving reports of drug trafficking in Fairborn.

Investigators determined Evans was distributing large amounts of cocaine throughout Fairborn and the surrounding Miami Valley area, including local universities and apartment complexes.

Law enforcement agencies conducted a series of controlled buys from Evans that led to his arrest.

The investigation included assistance from the FBI, the Adult Parole Authority, the Ohio Narcotics Intelligence Center and the Fairborn Police Department.

Greene County Prosecuting Attorney David D. Hayes noted that Evans had an extensive criminal record before this case.

“Evans has no fewer than 10 prior felony convictions including Aggravated Robbery, Domestic Violence and drug trafficking and possession crimes,” Hayes said. “Evans is a menace to the people of Fairborn, and he will now be behind bars for a very long time thanks to the hard work of the Greene County A.C.E. Task Force and Det. Connor Mulcahy of the Fairborn Police Department.”
