Police ask: Do you recognize this CVS robbery suspect?

The Sidney Police Department is asking for your help in identifying the man who robbed a CVS pharmacy of an undetermined amount of narcotics on Thursday evening.

Tonight, the department released a photo of the suspect taken from surveillance video of the incident.

The department received a 9-1-1 call from the pharmacy, 324 Fourth Ave., just after 5:30 p.m. reporting an armed robbery.

According to the preliminary investigation, the suspect was in the store several minutes before he went directly to the pharmacy area and handed an employee a note demanding narcotics.

No weapon was shown, but the robber said he was armed. He left the business in an unknown direction.

He is described as black, clean cut, dark skinned and in his early to mid 20s, about 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-10, and thin. He was wearing a white ball cap that bore a dark adidas logo on the front, a white T-shirt featuring black writing, a dark colored zippered hoodie, dark basketball-style shorts, white socks and dark shoes.
