Man shot in Harrison Twp.; Deputies investigating

HARRISON TWP. — A man was transported to an area hospital after being shot in Dayton.

According to regional dispatch records, dispatchers received a call about a shooting victim on the 2200 block of Cadie Ave. around 5:30 p.m.

According to a release from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, the man suffered a gunshot wound to his right thigh. He was transported to Kettering Health Dayton, formally Grandview Medical Center, with non-life threatening injuries.

Deputies believe the shooting was related to an argument that happened earlier in the day.

Dispatchers said no one was in custody at this time, but the suspect vehicle was described as a 2008 Chevrolet Malibu.
