As reported by News Center 7 at 11:00, the crash happened at the intersection of N Main Street and Elm Hill Road around 4:45 p.m.

Medics took the man to a local hospital for treatment; however, it is unclear how serious his injuries are.

News Center 7 crews on scene saw deputies put what appeared to be clothes, a blanket, and a pair of dentures in a brown bag.

They also watched a silver car get put on a tow truck, but deputies didn’t confirm if it was the car involved.

People living in a senior community nearby said the area is dangerous due to the lack of street lights.

“Hope it’s nobody I know,” Dustin Yeary said.

Yeary lives in Harrison Township, but he didn’t see this crash.

“I’ve noticed a lot of people have become a bit more safe, they’ve stayed off their cell phone, but they’re just not too intelligent,” he said.

Yeary drives all over the county for work. He said sometimes it’s very chaotic.

“Crash here, road closed here,” he said.

With snow on the sidewalks, he said he’s seen more people “just walking down the middle of the road.”

He thinks it’s dangerous.

“Put on some brighter clothes, please, because there’s no street lights,” Yeary said.

The cause of this crash remains under investigation by the Traffic Services Unit of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

News Center 7 is waiting to get ahold of the 911 calls from people who saw this crash to better understand how it happened.

We are working to learn more information and will continue to follow this story.
