OVI checkpoint announced for Xenia tonight

XENIA — The Ohio State Highway Patrol announced an OVI checkpoint will be held in Xenia tonight.

The checkpoint will be held on from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., according to OSHP.

Crews will be at a checkpoint on Colonel Glenn Highway. There will also be a nearby saturation patrol to combat impaired driver-related injuries and fatal crashes.

This federal grant-funded OVI checkpoint is intended to deter and intercept impaired drivers.
