UPDATE: Power restored after overnight outage in Clark County

CLARK COUNTY — UPDATE @ 6:05 a.m.:

Power has been restored to all Ohio Edison customers in Clark County following an overnight outage that knocked out electricity to nearly 2,000 people.

The cause of the outage remains unknown.

FIRST REPORT:

1932 Ohio Edison power customers are without power last night in Clark County.

We are working to find out what may have caused this outage.

Bethel Twp.: 201

German Twp.: 97

Mad River Twp.: Less than 5

Moorefield Twp.: Less than 5

New Carlisle: 148

North Hampton: 216

Pike Twp.: 1217

Springfield: 50

Springfield Twp.: Less than 5
