Police arrest suspect in shooting near Huber Heights apartment complex Sunday

HUBER HEIGHTS — UPDATE @ 3PM:

Huber Heights police are investigating a shooting that stemmed from a fight at an apartment complex on Glo Court.

Sgt. William Garlow of Huber Heights Police spoke with News Center 7 about the shooting.

According to Sgt. Garlow, one person was shot in the leg.

He also said that one suspect has been arrested on a preliminary charge of felonious assault.

INITIAL REPORT (12/7):

Huber Heights police are investigating a shooting that sent one person to an area hospital Sunday afternoon, according to initial reports.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting around 4:15 p.m. Sunday in the 5600 block of Glo Court, near the Pine Run Townhomes.

The condition of the victim shot was not immediately released.

Initial reports indicate officers were looking for a suspect immediately after the incident, however it was not known if anyone was located or taken into custody.
