VANDALIA — A home improvement store sustained damage after an SUV hit it Friday morning.

As reported on News Center 7 Daybreak, officers and medics responded just before 5 a.m. to reports of a vehicle into a building at the 4600 block of Springfield Road.

Upon arrival, officers found an SUV hit Carl’s Home Improvement.
