CENTERVILLE — Nearly 7,000 AES Ohio customers were temporarily without power in Montgomery County Wednesday morning.
At 9:24 a.m., 6,723 customers were without power, according to the AES Ohio outages map.

The outages were reported in the Centerville, Washington Township and Springboro area.
A spokesperson for AES Ohio said the cause of the outages was due to a “large bird” in the Yankee Street substation.
Power has since been restored.
