Four victims being treated for serious injuries after Grandin Road crash

HAMILTON TWP, WARREN COUNTY — UPDATE @ 3:00 p.m.:

The Ohio State Highway Patrol reported that four of the five people involved in the accident on Grandin Road received serious injuries.

According to a release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, preliminary investigations revealed that a 2003 Ford F-150, operated by Stephanie Davidson, 44, of Maineville, was driving eastbound on Grandin Road when she crossed the center line and struck a 2008 Land Rover LR2, operated by Nicole Whaley, 37, of Morrow, who was traveling westbound.

Davidson was not wearing a seat belt and was transported to Bethesda North Hospital with serious injuries.

Whaley was wearing a seat belt and was transported to Miami Valley Hospital with serious injuries.

Brent Whaley, the front passenger of the 2008 Land Rover was wearing a seat belt and was treated for minor injuries.

Two juvenile passengers in the 2008 Land Rover were wearing their seat belts. Both were transported to Dayton Children’s Hospital with serious injuries.

Warren County Sheriff’s Office, Hamilton Township Fire and EMS Department and Hamilton Township Police Department all assisted with the crash, according to the release.

The crash remains under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

UPDATE @ 9:35 a.m.:

Five people were transported to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Grandin Road and Venture Way.

Officers on the scene indicated that three adults and two children were transported to Bethesda North Hospital.

Reports indicate that one vehicle struck the other after moving left of the center lane.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

INITIAL REPORT:

Emergency crews are responding to a report of a multiple-vehicle crash near the intersection of Grandin Road and Venture Way in Hamilton Township.

According to scanner traffic, multiple medics have been called to the scene, and CareFlight has been requested.

Scanner traffic also indicated that multiple people may be trapped by the crash.
