MONTGOMERY COUNTY — The Montgomery County Animal Resource Center has begun taking in strays from the public after previously putting a halt to it.
In a post on Facebook, the center announced most of their staff has returned and they will be “resuming normal operations, effective immediately.”
In the post, they said, “As we begin taking strays from the public again, we ask that you call us to report stray dogs rather than just showing up at the shelter with them.”
If you see a stray dog or would like to request an animal welfare check they ask you to call (937) 898-4457 and choose option one for dispatch.
The Montgomery County Animal Resource Center had temporarily refrained from taking in stray animals from the public.
