Police capture one of Miami Valley’s Most Wanted suspects

Dayton Police captured one of Miami Valley’s Most Wanted late Thursday night.

Christopher Collins, 25, was arrested Thursday night in the 800 block of Wilmington Avenue after officers responded on a report of a wanted individual located in the area.

When police arrived, they reported they saw a man standing on the corner of the street, according to a Dayton police report.

Police approached the man and officers said Collins identified himself immediately and told them he knew he had a warrant for his arrest, the report read.

Collins had a warrant out through Montgomery County for receiving stolen property.

Police said that they found a hypodermic needle in Collins’ purse, but no drugs.

Collins was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on the warrant and on a charge of possession of drug abuse instruments.
