DARKE COUNTY — One man was flown to Miami Valley Hospital after a crash in Darke County Sunday evening.
The crash was reported in the 8100 block of State Route 49 in Greenville Township just before 7 p.m., according to Darke County Sheriff’s Office dispatch records.

According to a press release, the crash happened when a silver pickup truck, driven by Chad Brumbaugh,41, of Greenville, heading north on SR 49 and attempted to pass a tractor driven by Ric Drew, 32, or Greenville.
When Brumbaugh attempted to pass Drew, he crashed into the tractor when Drew tried to make a left turn onto a private drive.
Brumbaugh was taken by Greenville Township Rescue to the Darke County Sheriff’s Office, where he was flown to Miami Valley Hospital by CareFlight.
Drew was treated and released from the scene with no injuries.
The crash shut down SR 49 for a little over an hour due to the crash.
