An initial investigation showed that a 57-year-old man, identified as Vincent Yarochowicz, was traveling eastbound on Grise Road when he approached a stop sign.
Deputies say that he failed to stop at the intersection of Grise Road and State Route 721.
Yarochowicz’s vehicle left the roadway and struck a power pole before coming to rest, Dark County Deputies said.
Medics transported Yarochowicz to a local hospital, and his injuries are currently unknown.
Deputies suspect alcohol to be a possible factor in the crash, the sheriff’s office stated.
The crash remains under investigation.
