ID released of man killed in Warren County crash

WARREN COUNTY — UPDATE @6:06 a.m.

The identity of the man killed in a single-vehicle crash early Monday morning has been released.

Douglas D. McCoskey, 31, of West Chester Twp., was killed in the crash, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

McCoskey was driving a 2014 Buick Verano north on Ohio 741 when the vehicle went left of center, drove off the  right side of the roadway. The vehicle struck a ditch, an embankment, some small trees and a bush. McCoskey was ejected and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Preliminary reports indicate he was not wearing his seat-belt, according to OSP.

One person is dead following a single-vehicle crash in Warren County early Monday morning.

The crash was reported around 1:30 a.m. on Ohio 741 near Keever Pass. CareFlight was called to the scene, but did not transport the male victim, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The identity of the male victim has not been released.
