Kings Island adds nightly parade to annual Winterfest celebration

MASON — Kings Island’s annual Winterfest celebration will now include a brand new parade.

The theme park announced that the “WinterFest Wonderland Parade” will be kicking off this year, which will take place nightly and feature more than 150 festive performers and eight decorated floats.

Parade themes will include toy boxes, gingerbread houses, choo-choo trains, along with the WinterFest singers, dancers, classic holiday characters and Santa Claus, according to a

Winterfest kicks off November 26th and runs through December 31st. The parade starts at 8:30 p.m. in Coney Elf Village.

Visitors can line up along any of the parade route Show Stops for an opportunity to celebrate with the performers as they pass, according to the theme park.
