The Esther Price Candies company announced Monday that Mr. James Day, known as The Candyman, passed away peacefully in his sleep Friday, Sept. 18.
According to a Facebook post, Day and three other business partners embarked into the candy manufacturing career in 1976.
Day treated all of his employees like family and will be missed dearly, according to the post.
Esther Price Candies is inviting those who have memories with Mr. Day to celebrate his life.
