Interchange construction on SR 235 and I-70, scheduled road and ramp closures

HUBER HEIGHTS — Bridge replacement construction will cause road and ramp closures on SR 235 north near the I-70 interchange in Huber Heights. The project, costing just under $930,000, is set to begin July 16 and end September 28, according to Ohio Department of Transportation.

Both SR 235 north (at the interchange location) and the ramp from I-70 east to SR 235 north will be closed. State Route 235 south will remain open and other ramps at the interchange will remain open with scheduled closures.

Below are the closures, dates and detours:

  • SR 235 north and I-70 detour: I-70 east to I-675 south to SR 444 to I-675 north to I-70 west to SR 235 north.

  • I-70 west ramp to SR 235/SR 4 south, overnight ramp closure: July 19-20, 6 p.m. to 3 a.m. Detour: I-70 west to SR 201 to I-70 east to SR 235/SR 4 south. 

  • I-70 west ramp to SR 235/SR 4 south, overnight ramp closure: July 23-24, 6 p.m. to 3 a.m. Detour: I-70 west to SR 201 to I-70 east to SR 235/SR 4 south. 

  • I-70 west ramp to SR 235/SR 4 south, overnight ramp closure: July 30-31 6 p.m. to 3 a.m. Detour: I-70 west to SR 201 to I-70 east to SR 235/SR 4 south.
