BROWN TWP., Darke County — A two-vehicle crash Friday afternoon sent an Indiana woman to a local hospital.
Crews were called around 2:45 p.m. to the intersection of state Route 118 and Beamsville Union City Road.

Preliminary investigation shows that a gray 2011 Toyota Camry driven by Raul Sosa, 35, of Union City, Ind., was traveling west on Beamville Union City Road when he failed to yield at a stop sign. His car was struck by a blue 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan driven by 28-year-old Elizabeth Foght of Arcanum, who was headed south on state Route 118, according to the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.

Both vehicles came to rest off the roadway, and the intersection was closed for about 30 minutes.
Sosa’s passenger, 39-year-old Nancy Ramos of Union City, Ind., was taken to Wayne HealthCare in Greenville by Ansonia Rescue with injuries that were not life-threatening and Foght was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

Sosa, who was not injured, was cited for failure to yield at a stop sign and no driver’s license, deputies said.
