The Humane Society of Greater Dayton is hosting the 28th annual Furry Skurry 5K and Furry Fest today at Eastwood MetroPark.

Registration for the event begins at 8 a.m., with the 5K starting at 9:30 a.m. and a 1-mile walk immediately after. Day-of registration and virtual runner registration are available.
Furry Fest begins following the races, with an adult beverage tent, food trucks, live music and other festival activities.

Children, dogs and superhero costumes are welcome and encouraged.
This year’s event is sponsored by the Petco Foundation and Subaru of Dayton.
