A house was damaged by an attic fire in Miamisburg late Friday afternoon.

Miami Valley Fire District firefighters were dispatched around 5:15 p.m. to 6000 block of 5th Ave on initial reports of a house fire, Nick Sanders, Miami Valley Fire District Battalion Chief told News Center 7.
Most of the fire and heat were confined to the attic and second story of the house. There was also smoke and water damage as well.
A person did live on the first floor and utilized the second floor for storage, Sanders said.
No one was hurt.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

This was one of two house fires the Miami Valley Fire District responded to on Friday.
They responded to a house fire in the 6100 block of Sonia Circle at 5:14 p.m.
