The National Weather Service has continued a Flash Flood Warning until 9 p.m. for Wayne County.
There are reports of trees down on at least two roads and roads covered by flood waters.
Route 35 has local flooding and the Indiana Department of Transportation placed high water signs at the affected locations.
Near Fountain City, state Route 227 is closed because of high, rushing water between Whitewater Road and Wallace Road.
High water is also reported across much of Wayne County.
Indiana State Police warn residents to not drive across water on the roadway, instead if you come across an area that is flooded, it's best to turn around and take an alternate route, rather than drive across the flooded road.
