TROY — Troy Main Street will host its Grand Illumination event in downtown Troy tonight.
The festival will kick off at approximately 5:00 p.m., with a tree lighting taking place at 7:00 p.m., according to a press release.

The Public Square will be closed from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. for the event. South Cherry Street will also be closed from West Main Street to West Franklin Street after 5:00 p.m.
Santa is set to make an appearance downtown during the Grand Illumination, according to a post on Troy Main Street’s Facebook.
Old Kris Kringle will be set up at Prouty Plaza from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
