Gov. DeWine orders flags flown at half-staff to honor victims of 9/11

COLUMBUS — In honor of the lives lost in the terrorist attacks that occurred on Sept. 11, 2001, Gov. Mike DeWine has ordered that flags of the United States and the State of Ohio be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset.

All flags flown upon public buildings and grounds throughout the state of Ohio must fly at half-staff.

DeWine is also asking that all Ohioans observe a moment of silence beginning at 8:46 a.m. to honor the innocent Americans and others around the world who died as a result of the attacks.
