Gas prices across the area began increasing overnight as many stations across the region saw a nearly 30 cent increase in prices at the pump.
The Shell station on the corner of Wilmington Pike and Clyo Road in Sugarcreek Twp. was selling fuel for $3.07 just a day ago and this morning the station is selling gas for $3.35 a gallon.
The increase was seen at other stations across the area as well.
The BP on the corner of Main and Washington streets in Dayton was selling gasoline for $3.35 a gallon this morning.
GasBuddy.com reported some stations in the region with gas prices still around the $3 mark.
The Speedway on the corner of Yankee Street and Austin Pike was offering gas for $3.03 a gallon around 3:30 a.m., according to the website.
