Fire inside DMAX manufacturing plant evacuates workers in Moraine

MORAINE — UPDATE @ 6:25 a.m.

Workers are back on the job after a fire inside the DMAX manufacturing plant in Moraine early Thursday morning.

Moraine firefighters were dispatched around 5:06 a.m. to the 3100 block of Dryden Road on initial reports of a fire inside the DMAX plant, Moraine dispatchers told News Center 7.

The fire was reported on the production side of the building and forced workers to be evacuated, according to scanner traffic.

News Center 7 has a crew at the scene and they say the workers are back inside

Firefighters have also left the scene.

The fire comes more than a month after one person was killed in a shooting at the same DMAX plant on Dryden Road.

The plant has also reportedly been evacuated.

News Center 7 has a news crew heading to the scene.
