Fire destroys Weiler Welding Company truck

Fire destroyed one Weiler Welding Company delivery truck and heat damaged two others parked outside the business on Sandridge Drive.

Moraine Deputy Fire Chief David Cooper said fire crews found one in a line of vehicles fully involved in flames when they arrived. It was loaded with 30 tanks of propane.

“Fortunately, we were able to get here quickly,” he said, and doused the flames.

The fire was reported about 5:41 p.m. The business closed for the day at 5 p.m.

There were no injuries.

Cooper had no preliminary money estimate of damage to the trucks.
