Teachers and classified employees have approved a new agreement with the Fairborn school district.
Members of the Fairborn Education Association and the Fairborn Classifed Employees Association voted Tuesday to approve the multiple-year contract.
The approval ends several months of negotiations between district officials and the unions.
A final draft of the agreement was drawn up on Feb. 10 after a six-hour negotiation session.
Union members, more than 350 teachers, faculty members and support professionals in Fairborn City Schools, were given several days to review the terms of the agreement before today's vote.
