Two area churches offered people a unique way to celebrate Ash Wednesday.
Ginghamsburg Church was at Courthouse Square in downtown Dayton offering ashes and prayers with a drive-thru style offering.
David’s Church in Kettering also provided a similar service in it’s parking lot on David Road near Far Hills Avenue.
The centuries-old Christian tradition of Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent.
