Downtown Dayton BMV location closes after COVID-19 case

DAYTON — The Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles offices on West Third Street are closed temporarily after an employee tested positive for coronavirus.

A voice recording on the location’s phone system only says the office is temporarily closed, but does not provide an estimated reopening date.

“We cannot confirm any other details at this point,” a spokeswoman with the state said.

Other Montgomery County locations that remain open include locations on Spring Valley Road in Centerville, South Smithville Road in Dayton, Chambersburg Road in Huber Heights, Springboro Pike in Moraine and North Main Street in Dayton.
