GREENVILLE TOWNSHIP — A man was taken by MedFlight to the hospital following a motorcycle crash in Darke County Monday night.

Deputies and medics were dispatched at 6:04 p.m. to the intersection of State Route 121 and U.S. 36 on reports of a crash involving a motorcycle, according to the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
Travis Johnson, 26 of New Paris, was driving a 1999 Kawasaki Ninja northbound on SR-121 when he failed to negotiate the round at U.S. 36, lost control and went off the right side of the roadway, a preliminary investigation said.
He was ejected from his motorcycle and treated at the scene.
Johnson was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and speed is believed to be a factor in the crash.
MedFlight transported him to Miami Valley Hospital with minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
