UPDATE: Missing Montgomery County man found safe

MONTGOMEY COUNTY — UPDATE @ 4:41 p.m.:

Deputies said Edward Middlebrook has been located and is safe.

INITIAL REPORT:

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating a missing 78-year-old man from Jefferson Twp.

Edward Middlebrook was last seen Nov. 23 at 11:30 p.m. Deputies said they believe Middlebrook walked away from his home on the 1200 block of South Snyder Road.

Middlebrook is a Black male. He is 5′4″ tall and weighs approximately 140 lbs.

He was last seen wearing a white mesh hat with ‘US Navy’ imprinted on it, a black/gray leather jacket and gray sweatpants.

Deputies said Middlebrook suffers from early onset dementia.
