DAYTON — Wednesday night, the Jersey Mike’s Subs “Day of Giving” campaign for the Dayton area finished with a huge success.
Sub-shops in the area raised $65,458 for United Rehabilitation Services (URS,) according to a representative from URS.’
100 percent of all proceeds from participating locations were donated to URS, a non-profit organization that provides services to individuals with disabilities and special needs.
Founded in 1956 as the Dayton Chapter of United Cerebral Palsy, URS currently serves over 3,000 children and adults annually who have various disabilities or special needs such as Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Muscular Dystrophy, Autism, and Alzheimer’s.
