Dayton airport employee found with loaded magazine in purse

An airport employee brought a loaded magazine to the Dayton International Airport early Thursday morning, according to a Dayton Police report.

The 18-year-old female employee reportedly works at the Chick-Fil-A restaurant at the airport. Around 4:15 a.m, the magazine was found in her purse at a security checkpoint, police said.

She told police that her boyfriend put the magazine in her purse the night before, and she forgot it was in there, read the report.

Police took possession of the magazine and the ammunition.

Airport officials took her badge, and she was sent home for the day, read the report. Police said TSA would contact her after a completed investigation.
