Darke County Sheriff’s Office asking for help identifying vehicle theft suspect

UNION CITY — The Darke County Sheriff’s Office is reaching out to the public for help identifying a suspect involved in a truck theft that happened in Union City Friday afternoon.

The suspect stole a 2004 Chevy 2500 Silverado long bed truck with Indiana plate TK904MGN around 2:46 p.m., according to the sheriff’s office.

The truck has tinted windows, a Harley Davidson “number one” sticker and an AMSOIL sticker on the back window. The keys were left in vehicle with 1/4 tank of gas.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect or locates the truck is asked to contact the Darke County Sheriff’s Office at 937-548-2020. Tips can remain anonymous.
