25-year-old Hamilton man killed in Preble County ATV crash

PREBLE COUNTY — UPDATE: 10:30 a.m.

A 25-year-old man was killed after an ATV crash at Rush Run Wild Life Area in Preble County early Sunday morning.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) said the preliminary investigation into the crash determined Jeremy Buchanan, of Hamilton, was driving a 2021 Polaris Razor when it overturned. Buchanan was pronounced deceased at the scene, OSHP said.

OSHP said Buchanan’s passenger, 26-year-old William Wagers, was taken to Fort Hamilton Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation at this time.

INITIAL REPORT:

One man has died after an ATV crash at Rush Run Wild Life Area in Preble County.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol said troopers were called to the 1900 block of Northern Road around 4:50 a.m.

Dayton OSHP Trooper Sgt. Charles Bower tells us this was a single-vehicle crash.

Bower tells us the circumstances of the crash are still under investigation.
