NEW MADISON — Multiple fire agencies are responding to a house fire on Jefferson Street Friday morning.

Initial reports indicate at least two alarms were dropped for the fire, which was dispatched in the 300 block after 6 a.m.
Firefighters from Greenville and Arcanum were requested to assist at the scene, according to emergency scanner traffic.
