DAYTON — Two separate crashes within a half-mile of each other on Northbound and Southbound I-75 near state Route 725 caused a traffic slowdown around 10 p.m Saturday.
The Dayton post of Ohio State Highway Patrol said that crews responded to the accident on I-75 SB first.
The crash involved two vehicles, no injuries were reported according to dispatch.

A more serious crash happened shortly after on I-75 NB after a single vehicle was on its side in a ditch, trapping its’ occupants.
One person had to be cut out of the vehicle, according to Montgomery County Dispatch.
OSP dispatch records showed that one person was also taken to an area hospital.

It is unknown how serious the persons’ injuries are or if there were other people in the car.
At one point multiple lanes were closed on both sides of the highway as crews worked on the crashes, but all lanes have since reopened.
