Crash shuts down major Butler County intersection

A car and van collided and police have shut down some traffic at a major Butler County intersection.

The collision this morning at the intersection of Muhlhauser Road and state Route 747 in West Chester Township has one person being transported to UC Health West Chester Hospital.

Police dispatchers for the township reported another victim is breathing and being attended to at the crash site and another crash victim is complaining of neck pain.

The crash occurred at approximately 10:30 a.m. and West Chester Police have closed some of the intersection’s lanes but reported northbound Ohio 747 traffic is flowing through the intersection.

Police remain at the scene investigating the crash.
