UPDATE: Power restored after vehicle crashes into pole in Englewood; 1 taken to hospital

ENGLEWOOD — One person was taken to the hospital after a vehicle crashed into a pole in Englewood, knocking out power to several homes.

Englewood police were called to the 1100 block of South Main Street on the report of a vehicle into a poll around 7:02 a.m., according to Englewood Police and Fire dispatch.

Dispatch tells us one person was taken to Miami Valley Hospital, and their condition is unknown at this time.

The pole the vehicle hit was knocked over and temporarily took out power to over 600 AES customers in the area.
