SHELBY COUNTY — The Country Concert is back in Fort Loramie this weekend.
The days-long concert in Shelby County is one of the biggest shows in country music every year, and show organizers told News Center 7 they have the potential for record crowds this year after COVID cancelled it in 2020.
“It is our 40th anniversary, so people have been excited for two years now. We’ve not sold out before, but we’re in a position this year that we could sell out either prior to or at the gate,” said Paul Barhorst, president of Country Concert said.

With crews putting the final touches on the concert and campgrounds for 2021, the annual concert is making a big comeback.
“We have a super star lineup that includes the hottest act in country music right now, Luke Combs, John Pardi, and Ashley McBryde. So it’s going to be a heckuva show,” Paul Barhorst, president of Country Concert said.
Barhorst said Country Music Hall of Famer Alan Jackson will also be on stage this Friday.
Mike and Pam Hullinger from Miamisburg said they have been coming to the show since 2014. They already have their tickets and have started camping and partying with some of their friends.
“We couldn’t sleep last night. It was like a little kid and just excited to see everybody. Get those faces back in our lives again,” Pam said.
“We’ve got a lot of lifelong friends that we’ve made here,” Mike said.
The County Concert website says tickets and camping are no longer available online.
