DETAILED FORECAST

Tonight: Expect mainly clear skies and cool conditions, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell said. Lows will drop back into the middle 50s by morning.

Friday: The day will start with sunshine but clouds will increase through the afternoon. There is a chance some showers or a few storms could make it into the area at night. Temperatures will top out in the upper 70s.

Saturday: Expect a mix of sun and clouds with a chance for passing showers and storms. It will be a bit warmer and muggier with highs in the lower 80s.

Sunday: Partly sunny skies and much warmer temperatures are expected along with muggy conditions. There is a chance for a few pop-up storms. Highs will reach into the upper 80s.

Monday: Expect partly cloudy skies with a chance for a pop-up afternoon or evening storm. It will be hot and humid with highs in the upper 80s and a heat index in the middle 90s.
