Community tool lending service available for those in Fairborn

FAIRBORN — One local community is offering a community tool borrowing service.

The Tool Lending Closet is open to those living in the City of Fairborn.

This was made possible through funding the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Community Development Block Grant Program, the city said via its social media page.

Those wishing to borrow tools such as lawnmowers, edgers, weed trimmers, and numerous other lawn, garden, and home repair tools must meet specific income requirements.

There is no fee to borrow the tools for those that are eligible. To find out more information, contact the Development Services Department at 937-754-3050.
