BELLBROOK — Members of the Bellbrook community rallied together to show their support for an upcoming school levy.
Community members gathered at Bellbrock Park and marched to Dots Park and back with signs in support for the Bellbrook-Sugarcreek Schools levy.
Those in attendance had signs showing their support for the levy an in hopes to get others in the community to back the levy, before the official vote.
The Bellbrook-Sugarcreek Board of Education voted to put the 7 year, $3,220,000 Emergency Operating Levy on the May 4 ballot in January.
According to the school, the levy will “provide a critical lifeline to help fund the district’s day-to-day operations, such as staffing, utilities, transportation, and supplies.”
The community will vote on the school levy on May 4.
