Christmas tree arrives in Troy, lighting ceremony later this month

TROY — The city of Troy is preparing for the holiday season.

A decorated Christmas tree is now sitting in the center of town.

The 32-foot blue spruce was donated by Jean Vincent.

It took a team of city workers and crane operators from Piqua Steel and AES Ohio to put the tree up.

The official lighting ceremony is the Friday after Thanksgiving at 7:30 p.m.
